Gothic Window
These windows were fitted in to a restored chapel/church that was being converted into a private residence in Scotland. As you can see the original which is white had no opening lights and was also single glazed. Our brief was to copy existing but to incorporate openings sashes and also allow to be double-glazed. All of this without dramatically altering the look/character of the windows.
As you can see the finished article still looks in character and we even managed to introduce modern draught excluder for those cold Scottish winters.
Garage conversion
Here we were asked to produce some doors with sidelights to complement the windows in the main house. These were to go into the side of a garage. Doors were double glazed and fitted with a multi-point door lock and black handle set. We picked out some of the frames in black and glazed with square leaded units to match the theme of the main house. These pictures show some other windows and doors we replace in the main building some years before and the existing windows in the background.

Replace rotting porch
We replaced an original 1970 porch which was out-of-place with the front facade of the property. We were commissioned to manufacture a new hardwood porch to be more in keeping with the property and to incorporate modern double glazing and draughtproofing where required. Inside the front door there was another screen, which when the steel was fitted, revealed an original arch detail in the brickwork. The cornice detail that runs across the front of the building was replicated to run around the top of the new porch creating a small parapet for the lead roof. The details were taken and before the front porch was installed, a new arched frame with a pair of doors centrally was taken into the building, as access after would be impossible.
